Official Last OB check/appointment

I went today for my last visit. This was my "40 week 3 day" check. It would have originally been my 40th but back a few months ago my date got moved back a few days. Its a little confusing but the bottom line is: No baby yet :) I have a date and time set up for an inducement for Sunday night midnight/Monday morning. Of course the doctor and I both agree 'natures timing is best' but for medical reasons he needs to do what he needs to do. So that means the inducement. Although he says with a wink and smile "I can't induce you if you don't show up" :) I am praying Gods best for us will be done here. I am dilated to about a 3 and just 50% effaced. (if you like to know those numbers) The head is engaged, too. I am 'feeling' tonight would be a good night. We are going to try to get to bed early and rest and see what happens.

So if you want more personal info scroll on down :) I am not one to leave much out! I have very little shame I think :P Isn't that awful!?

I am about 6 lbs over the weight I was when I had Isabelle. I have gained as of this morning 18 lbs (altho tomorrow morning may bring on a WHOLE new number!)
I am feeling better these past few days. I had pulled my back out over a week ago and that is improving ever day a little more. Thank goodness. My stretch marks are unbelievable! If you have never had them you have MUCH to be thankful for!

Okay well that should do it for now. I'm sure you have learned all you wanted to about me :)
Let me fill you in real quick on Chris and Isabelle. They too, are a big part of this pregnancy. Chris will be off a few days with me when the baby comes. He is reading up on his 'coaching' part. We are in this together! (unless I get serious pain relief then he is off the hook) Isabelle believes she just may have a baby in her belly too. She loves to pretend her baby has the hiccups or stretching. She also loves to kiss my tummy and tell the baby "Come see your isabelle" Its going to be REAL interesting to see how she does once this baby arrives. I think its gonna be a bit of a struggle. Hopefully it wont last long. She is precious and a good girl.

Hi Shelley;
Thank you so much for sending your blog address. You're right, it looks like it'll be much easier in the long run for you. You look great and like you've dropped. Ready for that baby any time. Isabelle is just too cute and beautiful along with the current distinction of being the only Earhart granddaugther. Tell Chris congrats, he looks very happy. I feel like I'm a little more out off the loop this time, because I don't get to see you as often as I used to, but that's as life goes. You need to give Meagan a call. If you need her number, give me a call and I'll pass it on.
Blessings & loving prayers,
Leslie

Hi Shelley! Your blog is really cool! Who would have thought you could document all this and have it forever! I guess tomorrow is the big day, huh? Good Luck! I wish you the best, and hope you have an easy time. Be sure to send an email and pics as soon as you can! You are in my prayers tonight.
