He found his hands

Or did he? Sure, he amused himself for every bit of 8 minutes with his right fist, but does he know its his fist? Will he remember that its there tomorrow? Never the less, it was a few minutes of good peace and quiet and entertainment for himself :) it was cute :) (that was yesterday)
So, Yesterday was a HUGE cousin reunion. We met at a local studio to have some fun with the cuz's. The ultimate is to get a good photo w/o anyone crying or picking their nose. I think we achieved that. 6 kids, from the age of 6 yrs to 6 weeks. It was fun :) check back in a few weeks you can see the fruit of our (Kristy, Donna, Jessica and myself) labor.

Poor little fella got a little to much sun on his face this morning. We went to the Country Days Parade. We had him in shade and we checked on him every few minutes. We used a little fan for him too if we thought he was getting warm. Anyways I guess he will just have that 'sunkissed' look for a few days. I didn't even take any photos of his 'first parade'. I do have a few photos of this past week- just keep scrolling down :)

He is working hard on his tummy time.

He cried and cried until Chris got him in this position and he loved it. See the other below before he fell asleep :)

Isabelle looks SO much like Chris here in these 2 photos, especially this one here on the right. I need to upload one of chris when he was this age. If you can't see it now you will then!

This is what happens with flash.

quite the poser :)

Isn't this a sweet sleeping baby :)

We call this his fat face look :P Will that cause a complex when he grows up for him to hear this?
if not.. then check out them ears! :)

I think he is adorable!

All dressed up:
We were headed out to Wesley's 1month well baby check up

six weeks old

Our baby is growing up and old so fast! 6 weeks today. Seems these days I am not getting the time, or making the time to update here. I enjoy it and enjoy hearing you all tell me that you have been reading. Sorry for the time (s) you have stopped in and find nothing new. To bad I just can't Think about what I want to say and it just works from there. I actually have to put a little more effort :) which I don't mind, really. Right now, both my babies are asleep. this is a great time to talk about them :) its late, we are reading our bible, sure we stopped short of our scheduled reading (chronological reading) but who hasn't :) Chris just points out to me, both Isabelle and Wesley are snoring! How cute are they! So, on with the newest of news; Last week, Thursday, Wesley had his Well baby check up. he is such a big man! His weight was 10 lbs 10 oz. (he would have been 5 and half weeks old) that places him in the 50% for his age and the height was 23 something. That puts him in the 90% and his head was eh,.. lets see... he was born at 36 oh 38. That is a beautiful 75%. Ive never had a well baby visit with a head smaller than 95 (of course girls and boys are rated differently on that percent mark) any who, he is just a growing baby of love :)

So, his wee eye still waters but Dr. says it should open up before to long. We have upt his spitting med. and the Dr. did not hear an irregularity in his heart. that is great :)

Last Wednesday my cousin Christina stopped in to see us, with her b/f Nate and we had a good visit. Isabelle was totally shy and quiet. how nice! We snapped a photo of them with the the oh so sweet baby, Ill put that on soonly.
Today we made our first big travel. We headed to KY with my mom to take grandma Elsie to see her sister. Since we met at a central location it was ONLY 11 hours the poor boy and Isabelle were stuck with us in the car. Well, lunch was included in that. overall it was a nice little trip out. We didn't do to much exciting - just rode along. A few extra stops for feedings, poopies and potty breaks (Isabelle decides she wants to use the bathrooms today which makes for a difficult travel) and back home. so what in the world am I still doing up!? its before 10:30 pm and everyone is sleeping, I must too!
