A new baby cousin for us!

There was just a new baby boy cousin born into the family! We are so thrilled for another precious boy! His name is Noah and I asked Isabelle this morning what she thought about him having seeing the first family photo. She said 'He pretty good" She also said she wanted to see MORE photos. I said, there are no more that's it. "No mommy I want more photos!" She is her mother's child :)

I got my hair cut. This is after we had dinner with Stephanie and Damian once last time before she heads out. I really enjoyed spending a little more time with them.

Aslan is on the move..

Sorta. Chris kept the kids this evening in the living room so I could take a nap. It was sweet. So, I come in from my nap and there is Isabelle playing on the floor and that sweet baby laying under his jungle gym. He is sucking away on a cheap no-shaped passifier just playing away! Moments later he is on his tummy. Next thing ya know, he has moved to a different angle and up about a half a foot. No, he isn't crawling but he is on the move! It sure won't be long. Mom reminded me today that my days of peace and quiet are about over! As soon as he starts sitting on his own and crawling I won't have the ease of just laying him next to me and knowing he will stay put. Aw he is growing up to fast! He is moving all over the mat right now even as I type. Talk about growing up to fast. Little miss Isabelle sure is. She is showing quite the attitude. Good and Bad. "All myself" is one of her favorite sayings. I like seeing her independce and wanting to be big and grown up. Its just not always in her best interest that she does. We have went 'round and round a few times. Last week was a lot of 'work' so hopefully this week will be better. Who says again parenting is easy?

LOL I just finished up here and looked down at Isabelle by my side on the floor, she has found a box of garden/yard gloves.. new.. and putting them on her hands and FEET! so silly :)
