Coming along

For some reason I don't think this 7:00 update got on the site:
Unfortunately we don't have much going on yet. We arrived at the hospital a little after midnight, but it was 2:20 before they actually started the pitocin. They checked around 5:30 and we were still 2-3cm and 65% effaced. The nurse brought me in a cot, which is about half of a twin bed, but at least I was able to get some sleep in. Baby's heartbeat has been steady between 130 and 140. Not too much else to add yet!

And now the current update:
Shelley is feeling some contractions now - they are strong, but not unbearable. She's in a rocking chair now, though the chair won't be an option once the doctor breaks her water, which could be at any time (whenever thr doctor comes in probably). The nurses say that once that happens things will go quickly.
Donna and Isabelle are going to be coming in soon, and LaVonna (Shelley's friend Amanda's mother, who works here at the hospital) came in just now and is talking to Shelley. No one has checked progress since the last update. We are kinda tired of sitting here doing nothing!
