We had some really great meals brought to us during 2 weeks after my surgery. It was such a blessing because everyone was really pulling their weight around the house to keep things up and this was one thing we didnt have to stress over. I actually think thats why I recovered so well because all this good yummy food was coming in and it kept me eating, and kept my strength up and helped the pain med not hurt my tummy which kept me from being ill. It was so nice for chris because he was so busy taking care of me. Sometimes I needed full time help even for a short time. Then the kids need full time attention. Then there is the house and yard, Mom was a huge help too. She stayed with me the first 5 days. It was awesome to have such good help. Another girlfriend came up, one of those days to give mom a break, and chris was back to work, and it was nice that it kept "moral" up and since I couldnt pick the kids up it was so great having an extra strong hand. Thank you guys, for the prayers, the cards, the gifts, and food. For time, and phone calls and emails. It was great support and I felt so loved! :)

The day before surgery with Westerly and Isurbelle

Weekend before surgery we had a little girls night. Lots of yummy yummy food and prayer and laughs and tears. It was great.

Wesley is getting all "snuggery" with the covers!

ooh arent they so sweet~

One day awhile back at chris's work..

We had cake out at Kristys house for Chris' birthday. She is showing off a huge watermelon!

We haven't went anywhere, we didnt go on vacation, and not like we lead a boring life, we have just been busy. But let me update you here a bit. The recovery went fine from the surgery. Let me just tell you, when you hear someone complain of "gas" post surgery.. dont take it lightly. It is the worst! So now Im just waiting to be released to swim and work out. But to not have constant stomach pain is very alarming for me. I had it for so long so much that now it seems very weird not to. I have had to get use to that.
Chris is busy keeping up with me and the kids and work and church. He is doing an awesome job taking care of our Finances. After we took the crown class that we took at church there is such a freedom with our money and chris is doing so well and taking care and im loving those Friday nights after he gets paid and we work together moving money around and where its going to go and what we are going to do.. its a lot of fun now!
Isabelle is growing up. She is just a lot of fun for me. She mimics so much and wants to learn. She spelled the word "stop" for me. We go thru days that require more discipline and structure and other days are just loaded with laughs and learning. She told me the other night when I was putting her to bed that we forgot to do our numbers! She loves her "school" time :)
We went to the fair last night and she wanted to ride all the big kid rides.. she thinks she is real big sometimes.
Wesley is growing like a weed. I have noticed this last week how big he has gotten. Its hard to tell when you are always with your child but when you notice its so unreal! He talks.. baby talk.. alot. its real sweet and quiet. He isnt saying much in the way of real words but he signs a few things to help with communication and that is handy. I was telling a few people this week about Reminiscing the past.. atleast a year and half ago past :) Isabelle was 15 months when we first started going to Parkland Chapel, that is Wesleys age now. Isabelle was saying 60 words at 16 months.. Come'on wesley start that talking! .. Just kidding.. Im Soo very happy he is so quiet! :)

Anywho I could go on but how about a few photos.
Oh, we have a new kitten :)

oh and we are full time with cloth diapers! Let me tell you, its NOT your momma's cloth diapers! We are only using disposable for night time :)
so excited about saving money!

Love all the pictures, glad to hear you are doing better post surgery. How do you get so many pictures on one blog? For some reason it only lets me upload 5, what am I doing wrong?

first, awesome outfit (the full length shot of you holding wes) - love it.

second, maybe he's not talking much 'cause his sister takes care of that for him? hehe. if you listen to me and my older bro, you'll understand why our younger bro took his time doing things (talking, walking, etc.)...at least, that's what my parents say. hehe. kids are fun to analyze. :)
