This girl is so hilarious! I thought id just update a little bit of what she is all about.
These past few days she has been really cracking us up with her humor and sillyness. She is also impressive on the vocabulary and expressions in which she uses her words.
i.e. She fell against the window while looking out and scraped her chin. So she wanted me to get on the phone right away with mamaw Eslie and tell her. Then, today at lunch when we seen chris she wanted to make sure he knew just what happend, so he followed her by asking "how did all this happen!?" She followed by saying "The point is I got blood!!".. Point is. where did she hear that one from! She has huge imagination. Atleast it seems huge cos i have nothing to compare a 3 year old imagination with. She uses her dolls to talk back and forth and has real conversations and sitautions. She plays pretend with 'Keena and.. oh there is one other name.
We encourge play, but to understand when its play time and real time, and to make sure we know when she is just playing with her friend, Keena. She imates everything and everyone. She loves to play us. She will say, Im the mommy and you be the daddy! She wants me to carry a deep voice and pretend im daddy just coming in from work, and she is mommy with a really girly voice. She always says when we are playing this little game "You be daddy and you get your car stuck in the mud!" She can't keep up with her own game so she ends up with 'daddys voice' and realizes she switched charictors and cant remmeber whos voice she was to start with.
(confused?) I could type hours about her. Im so proud of how well she eats and how pleasant she is at the dinner table. We ate Belle Peppers and hummus today for a snack. Actually she ate hers and mine! Another thing is, she is catching onto so much and grasping ideas, styles, thoughts, and learning so well. I am so pleased with her and her wanting to please. Totally excited to see her daddy come home at the end of the day. She loves to pray, sing, color, write, snuggle, watch movies, signing, memorizing and play with wesley. ALL DAY! She enjoys being 'dropped off' with my parents or anyone actually. She is learning to tell time (it might take 4 years but she is learning) This past week she figured out she can open the "Fridgarator" now comes that she learns with great achievements comes great responsibility. (something like that) You didnt think there would be so much to to teach about a refridgerator but I think its important she gets into a habbit of asking to GET INTO the fridge, our house, or wherever so yeah, always a work in progress!
How about a little video clip too. Altho it might not be impressive, first handed its pretty cute :)
No doubt, staying with my children is a full time 'round the clock' job. It can be as many mothers and care givers can relate to, its just down right a lot of work. Wiping noses, and potty breaks, teaching and instructing can really wear but one thing is true its so very much the best thing. Last night I checked in on her, after she had been put to bed to find her looking thru a book with her little night light on next to her. My heart melted. Its so worth it. I praise The Lord for the great responsibility and blessing he has given to us.
