So here is a run down: Chris' mom is flying in tomorrow morning for a visit with us until the middle of the week. It is supposed to rain and be yucky out. Not sure how much fun things we will get to do but it will be nice just to see her and let her see my babies. She met Isabelle when she was 5 months old. Isabelle is now 2 and half, and Wesley is almost 5 months old. Isabelle (ok we are personal here on this site so let me refer to her as we call her) Boo is very excited but isn't sure who she is really is. She keeps thinking its my Aunt Norma. :)
This week we have been very busy working on things around the house and we did alittle green bean canning. Several hours (okay like a day and half worth!) But I think well worth it. We did this at my grandmas house. She just completed a caterac surgery and she kept up with things better than I did! I have a few photos of that too.
I have been following up with some more dental appointments. Still working on the teeth issue.
We have just been busy which is why I have not made the time to keep you updated (Thanks jennifer for staying after me! That photo of Mark; I could eat him up! so cute you should let me post it :P)
Wesley is growing big very fast. He is making new sounds and saying "ma ma ma" but ofcourse I know its not for me but I'd like to think it is. He rolls all over the floor back and forth and is not to be trust anymore. He pulls himself to a sitting position if he is in a sort of a cline to start with. He tries to sit so badly and falls forwards. He is enjoying putting his arms straigh out under him so he can see far and really feel like a big man. Wesley, from what i can remember of Isabelle, is so much more fragil than her. He really gets his feelings hurt (maybe she did too and maybe all babies do?) I know he gets scared sometimes when he see's boo coming. Othertimes he cracks up at her and it just encourages her to entertain him more! He is grabbing and pinching..it hurts but its precious. He still enjoys pulling blankets up to his face to snuggle. Or chris' mouth/gotee to his face. (like face to face) Wesley also enjoys us putting our hand over his mouth and making that sound.. I don't know what you call it but you know what I mean.
I am so proud of Our little Kittles (another nickname) She eats tomatoes (or ToMos as she calls them) right out of the garden. She is eating so well and saying such big stuff. She is funny and sweet and a typical trying child. She presses her limits and test bounderies and does those things willfully and also out of child like behavor. She has showed sympathy for our friend in the ICU at Barnes, and sadness for our aunt who isn't feeling well, and my poor grandma with her caterac surgery. She prays for each of these and ask me about them often. I told her a good report we had on one of our prayer request and she was tickled to hear it. She quietly when in the other room to thank Jesus for being with our friend and helping him feel better. I don't know how much she is getting but she is seeing that its very normal and encouraged to pray about matters. The other day, she asked me where we were going. I said "we were going to see MaMa Elsie", she asked, "Oh, did the dr. fix her eye?" I said "yes I think so. "Oh" she said "Did he take her eye out and put it back and fix it like that?" Oh boy I thought! She then proceeded to say "I think he put it back and its purple.. no hahah its black!" Where that child comes up with stuff at I dont know:) (thankfully neither purple or black)
I had a few deep thoughts the other day while I was watching both Isabelle and Wesley and ofcourse this late at night, this tired and in some aching pain, thinking about the big day we will have tomorrow I can't recall enough of it to type. But you must know how thankful I am the Lord has blessed us with these 2 children. I should be so thankful and greatful to some day later to be poured upon with another blessing. (no im not leading up to anything!) I just love them dearly and they really are a beautiful gift that God has given us.
Let me post some photos and be on my way. We have to get up Ol'e dark early.. :)
